Mods.....can we get a sticky for new guy with tire questions? I can specifically help with 14/12 & 12/12. I'm NOT talking a big opinion biased post about what tires are better than these tires. I'm talking mounting, tire pressures, entry level wheel options (can I use my 14"?) etc, etc.........

I have a crf150r that currently has 17" wheels. I would like to go to 12" wheels. How hard would it be to mount 12" wheels from an XR 50 or CRF50 on a 150R. the wheels im looking at have 15mm axle.
I was thinking about removing the airbox on my CR85 to help free up airflow into the carb. Has anyone done this? Air filter setup? Carb jet size? I will be running on pavement only so dust and dirt is not so much of a factor.
