The motorcycle shop below me is selling a 2010 TM 530 SM, and i cannot find any information on this particular model. nothing! i've found stuff on tm 250,300, 450, but nothing on either a 2009 or a 2010 530sm. i'm thinking about buying it but am unsure because of a lack of information out there. anyone got any info, reviews, tests, or comparisons?

i'll post pictures of it tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Much Obliged!

My TM530 is an 07, and its the most amazing bike Ive ever ridden, period! Its fast enough to make you shit yourself, when you know youre pushing the limits, the suspension keeps you on the edge, and its more reliable than an SXV!

The TM is my avatar pic, I think there is a bigger one in the TM section of the site. Ill get more next time I bring a camera to my shop!
Or were you talking about my DRZ?

Yes I do, but that isnt my shop. That pic was taken at Tasky's metric cycle in everett wa, where my friend bought the TM. He still technically owns it, but its been living in my garage for the past year and he doesnt care what I do with it!
My shop is Twinline Motorcycles, we mostly build cafe racers, but also do vintage dirtbikes, and anything exotic that most others wont touch. Check us out: www.twinlinemotorcycles.com! Our new website launches next friday and it will give a much better view of what we do than our current site.

I just went downstairs and took a bunch of pictures of the bike. i will post them later when i get to work. but no, i haven't found any reviews, tests, or comparisons on the "530" Supermoto. i found a good Australian review on the 450 enduro, but i would like to see one single review or comparison on the 530 supermoto before i buy a $12,900 dollar bike. I just don't want to dive in blind without having something to compare it to.

well, i've taken 9 pictures at the lowest VGA resolution posibble but i cannot get any of them to attach despite attaching numerous pictures in the past. i've only had this problem recently--the last 2 months--attaching pictures. What's up?

someone give me their email and i'll email them to you and you can attach them here. no, i'm not going to open a photobucket account just to attach 9 pictures of a bike i don't even own yet.

No problem J.R. I know you would have done it as soon as you could. So, what do you think, is TM such a hard to find bike that no one has bothered to do a review, test, or comparison on a supermoto version of their 530's? I can't find anything on their supermoto bikes. i mean nothing! all i found was what i posted earlier--an august 2006 comparsion.

That thing is trick as hell. I've drooled over the TM lineup since discovering this site, I'd love to have one. Good luck if you decide to get it Frank.

I know that the motor is the same as mine, and its amazing. TM claims 62hp, I got 52 at the wheel on mine. Im sure that one weighs about 20lbs lighter with the aluminum frame. Is there any specific information you are looking for? or do you just want a comparison against say the sxv550, husaberg 525 and ktm 525?

yep, that's exactly what i'm looking for: a comparison or test of a 2009 or 2010 model to something equivelant or, just a full-on test or review of a 2009 or 2010 530 model. i only found the one that i posted of the 2006 models. a little old. Shame.

Specs: http://www.tmracing.it/Moto.aspx?ID=25

It's an amazing bike, perfect for the track. It's a ready to race, and obviously it requires much attention to the service. It's nearly hand made in the small TM racing Factory, so don't expect the reliability of a Honda or KTM, but the emotions will be 10 times more

Obviously it depends on what you'll do with it: are you a track-addicted? Ok, this is the perfect bike for you, CRFs will have to struggle hardly to overtake you.

On the contrary, if you are planning to ride it just on the road, I believe this is not the bike you are looking for.
