Hello all,
I've been trying to track down what is going on with the 2005 SM610S. Some pictures were floating around, see http://www.bikepics.com/members/omerta69/05sm610s/ .
At www.husqvarnausa.com they only show the 450, 510, and 630 all of which, according to my Husky dealer, are non street legal models.
Last night I found a UK Husky site that shows the same pictures as bikepics and says the bike is available in May 05.
Today my dealer confirmed there will be 05 SM610S bikes (also the 610 dual sport) and they are street legal in CA. He had the MSRP at $6695 I believe and availability in March/April. No pictures, but he did know it wasn't the black/chrome SM610S of previous years.
So like any rational motorcyclist, I negotiated a price and put down my deposit to get the first one that shows up. Woo hoo!
Now ... how to make it until March/April ...
Also, I hope the model coming to the US really is the bike shown at the bikepics website.
Regards,
David
