can anyone do this on a supermoto?
I been trying them on my WR250X but not sure how much air if any Im getting...Ill go do a few and film and report back when I get my bike back from Ryan.
ive been bunny hoppin for years on the stunt pegs, 50, 70, 450. got some from the rider pegs also now, but only a few inches. gotta work on the suspension settings and technique. sick shit on the sport bikes.

Some of it is bike setup but most of it is technique/skill. The motion is similar to seatbouncing a MX bike off a jump. Gotta compress the rear suspension by pushing down hard with your legs then blipping the throttle as you stand up. I can do it on my trials bike but no luck with the motard yet.

I practiced it for a while on my DRZ, and i could get some air, but you have to have the suspension pretty stiff, like ryan says, lots of the inertia is eaten up by it. It felt a lot easier on the 70... I honestly haven't really tried on the 426, hey maybe i'll play with it after the move
I can get like an inch on the sxv by just straight hopping it like a bmx bike, no throttle. Obviously Ive never seen it but my buddy says there's air under both tires for sure. Im also sure I look like a complete ass doing it.
Looking for excuses... TO RIDE !!!
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

Cory and my self have been doing it for years on out 250xs.......... no one else is doing this that i've seen yet. 5:04 there are a lot of bunny hops in my videos..... I can get about 6-8" thats it.
That's like a pedal hop on a trials bike.. but on a sumo.
I can bunny hop my buddies gixxer.
