no sure, thats why i'm barely gettin any air. I saw bill dixon get almost a foot of the ground, the bike looked real stiff and almost easier to hop with less travel.

all my bikes have that. 12 inches of travel just sucks up the hop alot.

Some of it is bike setup but most of it is technique/skill. The motion is similar to seatbouncing a MX bike off a jump. Gotta compress the rear suspension by pushing down hard with your legs then blipping the throttle as you stand up. I can do it on my trials bike but no luck with the motard yet.

I practiced it for a while on my DRZ, and i could get some air, but you have to have the suspension pretty stiff, like ryan says, lots of the inertia is eaten up by it. It felt a lot easier on the 70... I honestly haven't really tried on the 426, hey maybe i'll play with it after the move

I can get like an inch on the sxv by just straight hopping it like a bmx bike, no throttle. Obviously Ive never seen it but my buddy says there's air under both tires for sure. Im also sure I look like a complete ass doing it.

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.
