    Default Help ID a bike

So this is my first stab at Sumo or finding something to convert. I haven't found any local Sumo (cheap enough) so I need help finding something to convert...

What bikes have electric start in the 400cc to 5xx CC range.
    I would prefer fuel injected
I think a hydraulic clutch be a plus as well..

I'm trying for a partial trade of an old school Chevy Blazer which limits my options. I have $3200 invested in the truck and could maybe come up $1k cash on top.

Needs to have some kind of kit available for a road legal conversion.

    whats on CL now...

    2012 KX 450
    2009 CRF450F
    2005 CRF450X
    2008 YZ450
    2005 WR450F
    2008 WR450F
2001 WR426 - already street legal but older at 2001

Also, what are my best options for wheels/tires? I still want to be able to explore desert areas since I'm in Las Vegas and on the edge of Red Rock National Park
Just looking for some general knowledge to help me sort out my options.
    Thanks

So is there a good website that I can look up the specs on any bike from any brand? I would rather not have to got to brand specific sites? I'm having trouble with the alphabet soup trying to figure out what has electric start.... EFI.... etc...

Here is my current other ride....

    Bikez.com

Most of their info is correct, some of the times. Or just google make model year and read the reviews on forums or magazines.

    I want a 450 with electric start and EFI... or either a DRZ400 or 525exc ; )

DRz400SM is not EFI, but is street legal and you could afford it
KTM EXC has efi and electric start and is street legal, but out of your price range
all the others are not street legal when new, you may get around that in Nevada, but most pre 2010 don't have elec start or efi

if you get a mx bike you wont be able to afford the wheels to convert it

if you want to explore the desert don't convert, leave it as a dual sport
