    Default Another English Newbie!

    Hi Guys,

I've been lurking for a while, but have recently taken the plunge and bought myself a new (2006) WR450F.

It's still on knobblies and is still throttle stop restricted, but I have changed the exhaust baffle for a pro-moto billet one and my new SM parts have started to arrive... A few pics attached:

    Very nice!

Is going to look great with the new rims, you doing all the work yourself?

    Cheers mate!

I'll be doing everything except the throttle restrictor... Carbs scare me... I'm used to fuel injection!

I'm not sure if you know of HM Racing, but it'll probably be going in there for a re-jet and dyno when I've finished the major bits.

I test rode an FMX before I bought the XTX. Nice handling bike and I like the way it looks too, but I got a good deal on the Yammy (and I'm kind of a Yamaha guy - 3 on the trot now...)
