My commute takes me from E470/SmokyHill to US36/Sheridan Daily.
Pretty boring on a bike, but even worse in a car.
I believe this thread is mostly for organizing track days, but if you're heading to the mountains to ride street, let us know that too.

I am thinking I want to stop by IMI today (Wednesday). If anyone else will be there, I am sure I want to go. Anyone else? It will be kinda cold (High 38). Maybe I should work Wednesday and play hookie on Friday? (High 51)?

I pussed out. Some shit was hitting the fan at work, so I decided to work today, and try to take Friday off as well. I am heading up to Epic tonight (probably), maybe I can stop off there on the way and just take a look? I think it supposed to maybe snow again tonight/tomorrow morning, so it might be best to have a conditions check on Thursday afternoon. We could probably call if it were serious.

TRACK REPORT: Its nice an clear (as far as I could see from the road) ... NO SNOW! (of course it could tonight, but thats another story). The dirt may be muddy, couldn't see that far.
BIKE REPORT: Dropped my skinny Japanese mistress off at Epic MotoSports this evening to get her some new shoes (and legs). Kevin sez it will be done by Friday morning.
I plan to be out there Friday, after 12 at the latest, hopefully by 11, oh and Saturday too. w000000t!

OK, got my WR450 decked out with some new sexy ass rims and Conti SM tires from Epic today, and took it to IMI. I had a great time, even though I was the only one out there for like 3 hours. I hope there will be others there tomorrow (hopefully someone with an awesome camera). I had my GPS on my phone going, cause my trip computer is dead since I got new rims (Kevin and I are remedying that). Anyhow I had the following three "runs"
RUN 1 (all asphault, new tires):
Dist: 5.2 mi
Speed Avg: 18.5MPH
Speed Max: 68.1MPH
RUN 2: (full supermoto track, gawd I suck in the dirt):
Dist: 12.53 mi
Speed Avg: 30.2 MPH
Speed Max: 69.6 MPH
Run 3 (full supermoto track, still suck in the dirt):
Dist: 15.7 mi
Speed Avg: 27.1 MPH (warm up lap and cool down lap was included)
Speed Max: 87.9 MPH (holy shit!)
What is the distance of the IMI track, when you run the dirt too? I know all asphalt is about 1 mi. I don't have an odometer right now to check that
Anyhow can't wait to get out there and PLAY tomorrow!
I'm thinking about taking Monday off to ride local.

Anyone who was at IMI 1/31 (two saturdays ago):
Did you pick up a dog leash that was attached to the fence? I left a red retractable leash carabiner'd to the fence and forgot about it. I asked the IMI people about it when I was there on Saturday and just got a bunch of smart ass responses (which I'm sure won't be the case here).

My buddy from Breckenridge just called and is headed over to Buena Vista and do some riding. Anyone want to join me on that misadventure? I'm borrowing a real bike not quite man enough to ride the super-duper Sherpa up through the tunnel this time of year. Some days it would be fine but others could be quite time consuming.
