It's not much yet, but here's mine. Hopefully when the rest of you guys post yours up I'll get some ideas. It's currently stock other than the tires, but will very soon be getting BBR shock and fork springs, Banke frame brace and BBR 120 kit.

It lets the front ride lower with stiffer suspension. IT has the same effect as BBr springs in the stock forks.

You've got to purchase an aftermarket steering stem to do the conversion. TK Race products makes a kit that includes the steering stem and tapered bearings needed to do the conversion. I actually have a buddy that has a brand new KX front end with the steering stem already pressed for sale if you know of anyone that is interested.

Default XR100 fork / wheel upgrade.

I put a set of Honda CR80 front forks and aluminum wheels on my XR80. The same modification can be used on an XR100. It's an inexpensive way to make a major improvement in suspension. With it you get aluminum wheels and a front disc brake. It's a bolt-up with only minor modifications necessary. You need to modify your headset to accept the CR80 cone bearings and you will need to weld a small tab on your frame for the floating rear brake hub arm. I'll take some pictures this weekend and post so you can see what I'm talking about. I've got a complete extra set-up in the garage that I might want to move on. I'm in So. Cal.

Default XR100/CR80 wheels - fork - disc front brake conversion

The CR80 set-up I used and have an extra of is off a 1986 CR80. That's a front disc and rear drum. I think it would be quite an undertaking to convert the rear to accept the a disc brake without a complete swingarm modification. The great thing about what I did was it is inexpensive, easy and really make a dramatic difference in performance and appearance.

My bike is almost done (for now) so I'll post a new pic or two pretty soon.

    Default XR100/115 Flat Tracker

This was Undergrounds XR100RR, i brought it home and installed the motor out of Staics XR80RR, a Takegawa Super Head and 115 kit motor with a Yosh Pipe and a 26mm carb in the already race proven XR100 Underground chassis with a Works Shock , i installed a pair of Flat Track bars and grooved 1 side of the 17inch RR Slicks that came on the bike and this thing ROCKS!!! It handles great and that motor rips.

    Fireman ,
The NSR in my Avater pic is built in part because of the build you posted online, it has a stock Xr100 Motor in it ...It will have the Takegawa 132 after the indoor Flat Track season this year. Minis RR has kinda died out in Tulsa but the XR100 Flat Track Crew never seem to get tired....and they race for Ca$h.

SWEET! How are you liking the XR motor in the NSR?? I was thinking about that Tak 132 kit, but how are you going to over come the angled intake on the superhead?? It points right at the frame of the NSR and the carb will not fit on it. Do you know of any adapters that will direct the intake out straight back?
I'm running the BBR kit with a bunch of other goodies.. it is good, but I would like to have a bit more power and an oil cooler hookup! I'm thinking of installing the Kitaco or Yosh 125cc kit over the off season. If you know of any adapters that will work on the Tak 132 kit, let me know.. I'd rather go that route since I've heard nothing but good things out of the Tak kits!

Over all i liked it. (NSR100) The XR100 wasnt quiet fast enought to keep up with the advanced questionably legal KLX's in the class due to the fact that the XR100's are limited to 100cc's because they have a clutch lever in the OSB. (Dumb Rule).
Underground bought a NSF last season and loaned it out a few times but it took a pretty brutal beating from the KLX's on the long track that we race on.
I used a Kitaco intake on my stock head and turned it over and ported it to fit on my NSR i just assumed it would work on the Super Head.
The GPZ550's used a straight boot that bolts right up to a XR Head , that might face it in the right direction.

If you are only allowed 100cc's then install a 24mm carb, webcam, inner rotor kit and run it like you stole it!!
I'm running a rubber Kitaco intake now on my stock head right now and it works great!
Can you send me a pic of your intake setup.. I'd like to take a look at it. Send it to rdracer4@hotmail.com... we'll take this conversation off this forum! thanks!!

I'm seeing that alot of these bikes have catch cans for racing. My sumo xr100 doesn't seem to agree with catch cans at all and it's pretty frustrating. My problem is that I can't catch can my crankcase vent without screwing stuff up. No matter how I rig it up or how wide of a hose I use, it can't idle for crap and the carb overflows with gas and it leaks. Has anyone found a good way to stop oil from leaking out of the crank vent when the bike tips over?

Sounds like your catch can needs a vent. In addition to all the carb lines and crankcase vent going to your catch can, you will need to attach a piece of long hose with a little filter on the end. Just run it up under your seat and it should work fine!

Okay thanks for the advice. I've got another one that may take a little more thought. has anyone tried to fab the pegs so they sit a little higher? I get sick of wearing down my corian sliders every time I want to lean.

Fastway pegs have a shorty supermoto version for less peg dragging with lean angle. The Universal Collar System is designed for ergonomics and adjustability.
The system allows you to choose from Standard or Lowboy seat-to-peg height positions, giving you a custom fit between you and your ride. In addition our FKMS (Fast Kamber Mounting System) allows you to adjust the upward and downward tilt of the pegs. http://www.promotobillet.com/catalog...roducts_id/475
I use the regular Fastways on both my XR100 and my CRF150R. I wouldn't use any others.

    During

    After
    TBD

Not to be too much of a tease, but I just got the bike on the 11th. I'm about 3/4 done, ok maybe more like 2/3, and I'll definitely post a pic when I get done.

The build is for the stock class for these things on kart tracks. The rules are basically: absolutely no performance enhancements except changing springs and fork oil, and putting an xr 80 front wheel on with DOT tires. I think mine's gonna be pretty sick though for a pure stock class bike. Specially with the 120 kit
