Default Grassroots @ Colonial Beach, VA on the 31st

Our last race of the season is this Saturday @ Colonial Beach.
Come out and run the mini's one more time before winter.
We use a smaller layout for mini's so you don't have to run down the dragstrip. Layout is probably 2/5 dirt & 3/5 asphalt.
Check the Grassroots threads in the NE / MA Racing Forum for details or call me at 301-481-9245.

Yep, quads can race too. I don't care what kind of tires you run.
Quads are hit and miss though, they never let me know in advance if they're coming. They've only come once this year in July.

This event has been postponed until November 14th.
It only cost $20 to practice and race all day.

Race is cancelled due to the track being flooded.

Season is over. Too little daylight and it will be getting cold, not to mention the Holiday's.
I'll have the schedule for next season up in January. We start with a round in March and run once a month after that until October.

Hey if I bring out a KTM 105SX what other bikes will I be running against? I would love to do this but I need to figure out if it is worth SM'ing the 105.

CRF150R's, CRF150F's, CRF100's, KTM85SX, KTM65SX. These are what currently run in the Mini class. Donovan is moving up to a KTM105SX next season (largest he can run under the GNCC rules and still run in the kids class he races in) so the 85SX won't be there.
The 150R's pretty much rule the Mini track, though a 105 should give them a run for their money.
You could just stick some street tires on it to try at first before going all out for wheels.
Hope to see you next season.

We opted to go with an 08 CRF150RB instead of a 105SX. This means Donovan moves to the Youth SuperMini 12-13 class for GNCC and he'll be doing both Youth SuperMini 12-13 and 4-Stroke C for VCHSS.

Just picked up the 150 a few days ago... working on getting SuMo components for it now. Otherwise, Donovan may still be on the 85 for Grassroots.

Hell - he can run a sportsman setup. Cost of tires and BAM! you got you a supermoto.

If you need SuMo wheels for your 105, I will be selling these if you are interested.

Just so you guys know, that 150 is legal for Allsports if you wanna come up and play indoors once he gets a sumo setup.

Yeah, we know. If that guy in Leesburg had come down on his price, I would have bought that one and Dono and I both would run up there. But it was hard to spend $2300 on an 07 when I just bought an 08 for $1900. Oh well. I am looking at some CR85 SuMo wheels that might fit the 150.

Now I just need Allsports to start at a reasonable hour. :lol
