klx250sf @ high speeds

For the people who have test ridden or own them, how does the bike handle at ~70mph? Is the engine overly buzzy at that speed and is the bike stable (i.e. no head shake?)

Sorry if there is another thread like this but I've only been able to find the top speed people get, not how it handles.

I'm considering buying this bike for my DD duties so any help is greatly appreciated.

i just recently bought a klx 250 sf , before i put a two bros. pipe on it it had a little bit of engine noise at 70-80 ,with the new pipe it not only sounds good but no more noise and bike flows a lot better. but as far as the handling goes havnt got any head shake , sticks pretty good. the bike is def not a powerhouse but it is fun to ride.

yeah like he said, its low on the power side and gettin up can be a pain in the a$$ but its a blast to ride. if u get one deff put on a slip on and jet it. i love thebike cuz of the looks i get and riding on sidewalks is great!!

Thanks green and jester. I've heard the bike struggles on the highway, so I'll need to find new routes (with lots of sidewalks

.) I just wanted to know if the bike would get sketchy on me if I even needed to take it on the interstate. Guess now I have no reason NOT to get one. Yay for me.

get a 330cc bore kit and then pop stand ups in 3rd gear
