The Akra map really made a difference on mine as well no more stall outs.. :thumbup:

 

Ok, so what's the map numbers? Are you both running standard or after market exhuast?

 

I'll back this thread up too.... My bike has zero stalling issues now I have a new zorst and the new akra map... Shows perfect a/f ratio on the dyno too! :bannana:

 

Just out of curiousity, what are KTM dealing charging to install this akra map??

 

its about $80 wherever you go

 

you can see how off my A/F is after the Akra map

red line is target A/F, light blue line is the actual A/F reading -WAY lean in lower revs

might just be my setup vs. others (airbox difference, exhaust differences)

 

That's pretty much what my a/f looked like when I first had my bike dyno'd with the new akra map and sc-project... But when I went back last week I took out my exhaust baffle and removed the airbox lid and gained 2hp peak and 7hp low-mid at 3krpm and is putting out a perfect a/f mixture....

It really does seem that the sc zorst runs better with the akra map than tha actual akra does haha

 

that run was with open style 94 db exhaust baffle in an FMF 4.1 silencer, and EVO airbox open style lid.

the only way thats going to get richer on mine is re-mapping, or a completely closed up exhaust. will be dynoing my Vortex ECU tomorrow

 

I have noticed that my bike likes to get 3 "dots" warm on the heat indicator before it runs smooth after a cold start.
I am running with the Akra slip on. I think my mechanic said the map was called tuning stage 1 or so.

 

Mine Duke ran worse with the Akra map with a FMF slip on then it did with the stock map.

 

Would you be able to give us the map # - that would be very helpful
